Over a cup of Peppermint tea

Give me a mask and then ask
and I will tell you more about me
than you want to know.

I will tell you about
sickness and pain
and how I am slain
at heart
by every man
that happens to take part in my life.

Serve my coffee?
I envision a invitation to dine

Ask my number?
You’re already mine.

Give me that mask and then ask away…
But you probably don’t want to hear what I have to say.
